The UHF Headlight Tag is a passive UHF transponder offering long range identification of vehicles at a distance of up to 5 meters [16 ft.]. The UHF Headlight Tag offers cost effective long range vehicle identification for parking applications. Tag with adhesive, designed for permanent headlight mounting on cars with metalized windshield.

With windshield RFID, the antenna had to be mounted above the vehicle. But with Transparent Headlight Stickers, it works great at headlight height.
The HeadLight Tag is a battery-free UHF tag, suitable for long-range vehicle access applications where the tag is permanently and tamper evidently attached to a vehicle. The HeadLight Tag is mounted on the outside of the headlight using an adhesive. The HeadLight Tag is useful for vehicles with metalized windshields, as such metallization is preventing the reliable operation of tags and cards placed inside the vehicle.

Tamper-Proof UHF Headlight label
The UHF Headlight tag is based on passive UHF technology. The tag does not contain a battery and is maintenance free.
The UHF Headlight Tag is a transparent adhesive to allow quick and easy installation onto the headlight of the vehicle. The thin, flexible, UHF sticker format is easy to install and offers a tamper resistant automatic vehicle identification solution by affixing it to the headlight. For added security, the UHF Headlight Tag is tamper evident. The tags will show visual proof of removal and are difficult to remove intact and functional*. The chip inside the tag is protected against harmful UV rays.
The UHF Headlight Tags is available with various programming formats, ensuring compatibility to any installation. Wiegand and Magstripe formatted tags are available to complement any access control application. Typical applications include vehicle access to car parks, gated communities/condominiums, offices etc. Other applications include access control of motorbikes, scooters and mopeds. This sticker tag is purposely designed to be adhesed to the headlight. This tag is the best option to enable reliable vehicle identification in situations where the entire car windshield is covered by solar film with metal particles.
HIGH PERFORMANCE
Sunlight & infrared radiation can compromise the performance and even functionality of the headlight tag. UHF Tamperproof headlight tags resist these elements to ensure consistent readability and achieving long read range. In addition, as the headlight label is affixed to the outside of the headlight, it is exposed to elements such as rain, dust, chemicals etc. Our headlight tag with its robust construction and high-quality materials resists these elements providing consistent performance.
